Some Humble Efforts by MFG:

 

  • Maintenance Allowance of Rs.1000 per month to 149 poor elders from various parts of Kerala.
  • Have disbursed @Rs.10000 to 69 poor blind people as a non-refundable self-employment assistance. Propose to cover alteast 100 people with a short time, inaugurated by Mr. KV Mohankumar, Calicut Collector.
  • 31 poor girls receiving full life sustenance aid under “Save the Girl Child” Project.
  • Maintenance assistance  @Rs.3000 per month to three orphan girls under “Save the Girl Child” Project.
  • Maintenance Assistance of Rs.2000 per month to a boy with multiple disabilities including blindness. Also provided him with a Wheel Chair and an Audio System – delivered through Palakkad Collector.
  • Provided artificial limbs to a physically challenged person. Also giving monthly allowance of Rs.2000 per month for sustenance.
  • Provided a laptop and a monetary assistance of Rs.10000 for six months to a polio affect young man who cleared his CA final in the year January, 2012.
  • With the support of Dr. AC Peter facilitated FREE heart surgery for three kids from economically disadvantaged class. Will support more such surgeries in the days to come.
  • Provided customized Gearless Scooters to two physically challenged persons in Kerala (Calicut & Kottayam)
  • Providing monthly allowance of Rs.5000 per month to a Cancer patient, who also lost one of his legs to the disease.
  • Facilitated eye replacement of a 3 month old girl child from economically disadvantaged class.
  • 52 underprivileged children are receiving Educational Scholarship for the last three eyars and shall continue to receive till they pass out Class XII
  • FREE Job training in association with RUDSET Institute, Kannur
  • Organised an Eye Camp at Kannur on 29th, December, 2012 for Blind People, in association with Sankara Eye Hospital, Coimbatore – eye correction operations completed for 39 blind people
  • Organised an Eye Camp at Kottayam on 24-2-2013 for the poor & needy people in & around Kottayam. The eye correction operations for 54 people identified will be done on April 17, 2013
  • An eye camp for 500 underprivileged people organized in Alappuzha on 11th April, 2013. in association with Sankara Eye Hospital, Coimbatore
  • Gift of Vision - Vision Restoration Surgeries to atleast 50 Poor Blind Children from each district of Kerala, in association with Sankara Nethralaya, Coimbatore. Over 150 surgeries completed so far.
  • 150 eye-correction surgeries for poor elderly people in Gujarat in four months.
  • Could facilitate giving job to 409 people, including in Gulf Countries – absolutely free, through our job placement cell.
  • Facilitated a sex change case – the operation was successfully done by Dr. Abraham Thomas, at CMC, Ludhiana
  • Matrimonial portal exclusively for our members, including personalized serviced available absolutely FREE.
  • Professional advises available for our members absolutely FREE through our Health Cell and Legal Cell – panel members are prominent experts from the relevant fields.
  • Distributed winter cloths to underprivileged people.
  • FREE diploma in Hotel Management for MFG Members (one year course – for SSLC / Plus 2) offered by one of our members - www.consultinn.com 
  • Proposed to distribute cheaper sanitary napkins to underprivileged school girls, in place of using the unhygienic old cloths.
  • Cleft Lip Surgery under “Gift of Smile Project”
  • Higher Educational support of a brilliant girl student (Ms. Sreelakshmi) from a poor family (till she completes Doctor or Engineer)
  • Eye correction operation in both the eyes of Ms. Sreena (having two small kids) 100% blind, done in May, 2013
  • Eye-transplantation of Ms. Shobhana (born with only one eye) done in June, 2013
  • Supporting a poor family having 5 blind people, including a teenage girl, @Rs.3000 per month in addition to Rs.20000 given for starting a lottery business.
  • Distributed Onam Food Material (plus one bedsheet) to 341 palliative care patients in September 2013.
  • Onam Special payments made to 50 Poor Ammas in September, 2013.
  • Ona Sadya arranged for 55 blind children in Palakkad and 50 palliative care patients in Kollam in September, 2013
  • A FREE Dialysis unit being installed in Kannur. This unit was given to us by an NRI from Saudi. The installation process will be completed in October, 2013.
  • Supporting a family having FIVE Blind people (1) one time payment of Rs.20000 for starting a lottery business (2) sustainable allowance @Rs.3000 per month – from September, 2013.
  • Facilitated artificial eyes to five poor blind girls through Little Flower Hospital, Angamaly in October / November, 2013.
